These are typical biscuits of Piemonte. They are very strange but delicious biscuits.
INGREDIENTS300 g of Almonds without peel
250 g of Sugar
4 Egg whites
20 g of Butter
15 of Vanillina
PREPARATION TIME: 30 minutes
COOKING TIME: 1 hour
DIFFICULTY: medium
WINE: Vin Santo
PREPARATIONPlace the almonds on a baking pan and roast them for about 5 minutes (or until the almonds become golden). Chop them finely, if you want you can use a mixer.

Beat the egg whites until stiff, whipping little by little the sugar.

Then add the vanillina and the chopped almonds and mix all together.

Move the mixture in a casserole and let it cook on a very low flame for about 30 minutes, stirring with a wood-spoon.

Now place a sheet of a baking paper over a baking pan, grease it with the butter and with the help of a spoon make small heaps.

Bake at 180° and let it cook for about 15 minutes. Take the "Brutti ma Buoni" out of the oven and let it cool.
